Attorney Matt Horak is a Board Certified Criminal Trial Specialist. He has spent the last 17 years crafting a powerhouse reputation in South Texas. Starting at that Harris County District Attorney’s Office, he quickly rose up the ranks based on his trial wins and relentless work ethic. Sometimes trying two cases in one week, he gained invaluable knowledge, experience, and most importantly, respect from colleagues and judges.

With a B.S. in Biology from the University of Houston and advanced training in Family Law and Drafting from UH Downtown, she keeps her skills sharp through continuing legal education.

A proud member of the State Bar of Texas Paralegal Division, Ana’s fluency in English and Spanish enhances her ability to deliver precise legal research, thorough document drafting, and effective case management, guiding families through legal processes with clarity and care. Anchored by integrity and a deep commitment to supporting families, Ana collaborates closely with attorneys and provides compassionate client support. Married with three children, she values family time and her two rescue dogs. A proud Houstonian with a deep commitment to justice, Alma brings over two decades of family law experience to her role as Senior Paralegal at Horak Law.
