At this point, it is important to call an attorney immediately, talk about what’s going on, and then contact the bonding company. You and your attorney will give them information on what they need to do next.
Sometimes there’s a criminal investigation in progress and an officer will file or warrant and not tell the person that there’s a warrant for their arrest. The person can be at work, they can be at home, they can be anywhere and a police officer can arrest them out of the blue and take them to jail.
